Inspired by trendsetting musical artists like Lil Wayne, Luther Vandross, Eve, Lauryn Hill, Nicki Minaj, Drake and more, New Jersey's own Dola Mac prides herself on being a good-spirited visionary and an honest hustler. Since 2003, she has lived and breathed music. Dola participated in both middle school talent shows and church choirs for five years. Her love for music intensified after her mother gifted her with a karaoke machine. She spent hours in the attic belting Blue Magic’s “Tear It Down” and Lil Wayne's "Best Rapper Alive" while exploring her own lyrical prowess. Moreover, Dola's relationship with her father indirectly influenced her diverse taste in music. Following her seven-year quest to master her distinctive sound, Dola Mac released her most recent album Dola Mac: A Fairy Bad Bish in September 2022. Dola Mac fully embraces her new epoch with divine feminine dominance.
